Please note we are seeing patients during this time of COVID-19 pandemic. However, we are offering visits remotely for safety of patients as well as staff and may consider in person if circumstances necessitate it and require prior approval to verify necessity. New patient evaluations are performed remotely due to extended duration of time required and fully able to evaluate via interactive video. Follow up cares are also most of the time able to be completed remotely, outside of the office, to meet needs.

About Complex Cares LLC
Dr. Shanda R. Dorff, MD, FAAFP began working with connective tissue diseases professionally in 2008 when she found herself unable and unwilling to stop learning. The more she learned, the more she wanted to know and developed a passion for the subject matter. She noticed great overlap and incidence of other conditions rarely seen in ones who do not have these conditions. She further began working to ensure patients have access to cares when discovered resources were limited. She saw the amazingly beautiful transformations when patients were able to get the needed cares. She also enjoys teaching others about the conditions along with ensuring patients understand their health for best outcomes. However, she also noticed for some patients things would seem frustrating when costs may vary from 1 clinic to the next depending on tier coverage, varying costs for insurance plans, and changes from 1 year to the next that could impact care or ability to continue working with the same providers. Thus, in order to be the most fair for everyone, she established the exact same rates and billing for all patients, regardless of any factor.
She is also proud to be a mother along with being a physician. She considers herself very fortunate to have been raised by an amazing, independent, intelligent, and strong woman who taught her to never settle for anything less than her best as well as not giving up on anything she believes in, which is why she felt drawn to open this clinic. Her hobbies include spending time with family, friends, travel, cooking, art in all forms, nature, animals, and writing. She further enjoys working with wonderful patients and staff.
